This exciting and informative course will cover all gel and builder gel application as well as refreshing on theory and learning about HONA's prescriptive approach to manicures. This is an essential course for anyone wanting to convert to HONA and become more informed on allergies, long wearing application and prioritising the health of the nails. This is a 1/2 day course and previous manicure and builder gel qualifications are required to join. Once you have completed this course you will gain an ABT accredited qualification. Choose from: Tier 1 - TrueBond - RubberBase - TrueBuild - BuilderPot - Gel colour - SuperShine top coat - Long liner brush - Medium gel brush - 245 & 150 file - 100/180 buffer - Certificate - Manual * A lamp will be provided for the duration of your course.   Tier 2 - TrueBond - RubberBase - TrueBuild - BuilderPot - TrueFoundation - Gel colour x3 - SuperShine top coat - Matte top coat - Black detail paint - White detail paint - Long liner brush - Medium gel brush - 245 & 150 file - 100/180 buffer - Aura lamp - Certificate - Manual *Builder gel will be swapped for gel polish colour in any courses that do not cover builder gel The course will cover: Skin Anatomy and physiology Contra-indications Contra-actions Nail abnormalities First aid Risk assessments Fire safety COSHH Storage Salon hygiene Health and safety Professional ethics and standards of practice GDPR Allergies and ingredients Prescriptive manicures Consultation Prescriptive manicures Equipment Application process Aftercare Infill process Removal process
